How to Enrol
Congratulations, you are ready to enrol your first customer!
This is a very exciting step in your business and shows you that you can achieve whatever you would like. If you can enrol one person, you can enrol 100!
There are two ways you can enrol someone.
Option 1
You enrol the person yourself by going onto your doTERRA account. In order to do this you will need the following information from your new member; Full name, Home address, Date of Birth, Email address and card details. I recommend collecting these on an enrolment form.
Here are the steps to enrol someone from your back office;
Click on Account and then Enrol a member
Select which Kit or products they would like – Click Next
Enter all of their details and choose a Password – I suggest using the same one for every member you enrol so you don’t forget! They can change the password as soon as they log in.
Next, Put the ID of their new Sponsor if it is different to you
Enter address details for new member
Last step – Enter card details
The next page will confirm your enrolment and you will receive an email from dōTERRA informing you of your new enrolee
Option 2
A very easy way to enrol your new member is by using Link Generator.
Here are the steps to create a Link Generator;
Go to Account and click on Link Generator
Click on ‘Create Enrolment Link’
Select Country and Language
Select Wholesale Customer or Advocate. I will explain the difference below. If in doubt, always select Wholesale Customer.
Select kit or products and click Next – do not worry if you don’t know exactly what your new member would like, they can edit it their end
Choose sponsor if different to you
You can then copy the personalised link created and send to your new member

Product Link Generator
You can also create a Link Generator to send someone who just wants to try one or two products without getting a membership. To do this, click on Link Generator and then select ‘create a product link’.
Time you have to place your new enrolee
From the moment you enrol your new member whether they are a Customer or Advocate, you then have until the 10th of the next month to move them.
For example, If you sign them up on the 30th of a month, you only have till the 10th of the next month so 10-11 days to move them. If you enrol someone on the 1st of a month, you then have until the 10th of the next month to move them so 40 days ish!
Enrolling a Wellness Advocate
If you enrol your new member as a Wellness Advocate. Once the 10th of the following month has passed, you are no longer able to move them. That is the position they will remain in your organization.
In the UK Wellness Advocates are limited to a £200 order for the first 7 days of membership. If your new enrolee is definite, they would like to be an Advocate and would like to purchase something above £200. Enrol them as a customer and then you can upgrade them to a WA.
Enrolling a Customer
It is therefore always advisable to enrol your new member as a Wellness Customer. If your new member chooses to upgrade after the 10th of the following month, you then have another opportunity to move them. They just need to enrol someone with 100pv and then you have till the 10th of the following month from the day they enrol someone to move them.
Customers also do not have any limits on how much they can spend in their first order.
Summary!
In summary, if you enrol someone as a Wellness Advocate, you must place them before the 10th of the next month and will never be able to move them again. However, if you enrol someone as a customer, you potentially have two chances to move them. You can move them as a customer anywhere in your organization before the 10th of the following month and then when they upgrade and enrol someone with 100pv, you then have another opportunity to move them before the 10th of the following month since the date they enrolled someone.
Sponsor changes
Remember you have until the 10th of the following month to finalise the placement of your new enrolee. Make a note in your diary to go into your back office to make the change on the 9th of the following month to make sure you don’t miss it!
A sponsor change is simply the person you would like your new enrolee to be placed under. If this is you, then you are the sponsor. If you would like to place your new enrolee under one of your other Advocates then you need to use their ID to make the change.
Here are the steps to do a sponsor change;
Go to Account and click on My Office
Go to Team and click on Sponsor changes
Click on the box next to the member you would like to move that says “Change Sponsor Placement”
Click Verify to confirm that is the new Sponsor and confirm
Your new enrolee will now be moved under the new sponsor. This can take a few days for it to appear on your organization.

Then click on Sponsor Changes, you will then see the screen below.
This page shows how many days you have left to move a person, ‘0’ indicates that is the last day you can move them. After this they will no longer show on this page and you cannot move them.
To move someone click on the change placement link.
Then find the sponsor ID (this is the persons ID you want to put the new person directly under) and add it to the box above. Then press verify, check the person’s name and then confirm.
This will then move the new sign up to the new position, wait for an hour or two for the system to update and you can check under the Graphical Tree tab if they have moved.
