What is the Difference between an Enroller and a Sponsor?

If you’re a new Wellness Advocate, you’re probably hearing some terms that are entirely new to you. To help you understand the difference between an enroller and a sponsor we’ve broken it down below.

Enroller: When you sign someone up under you, you automatically become their enroller. As the enroller, you can move that new enrolee anywhere in your organization before the 10th of the following month. You also earn Fast Start bonuses from their orders and rank advancements as the enroller.

Sponsor: When you personally enrol a Wellness Advocate and then place them under another team member on your downline, that team member becomes their sponsor. Being the sponsor of a Wellness Advocate means that you receive bonuses such as Power of 3 and unilevel commissions from their orders. Sponsors do not receive Fast Start bonuses or rank advancements.

You can be a sponsor and an enroller. For instance if you enrol someone and place them directly under you then you are both their Enroller and Sponsor.

Build to Premier

The best strategy to help you build a stable structure from the beginning and maximise earnings is to build to Premier Rank.

A premier has a total volume of 5,000 OV with two Executive legs under them each with a volume of 2,000 OV.  The other 1,000 OV can come from either of these two legs or a third leg.  The head of each of these two legs must be your personal enrolments and they must also be on a LRP of at least 100pv every month.  You must also have a PV of 100 to qualify for the bonus.

Once you reach Premier Rank – you will receive one share of the Empowerment Bonus which is roughly £150 just for hitting premier each month.

Where to place people

As you start building to Premier, you are looking for someone to be the head of one of your legs from the beginning.  This can be hard as you ideally want someone who would like to join you in the business as an Advocate.  Someone who matches your energy and shares your vision.  However, this doesn’t usually happen straight away, so we recommend the following options in order of preference;

  1. Place a builder on your front line – this is someone you have shared the oils with, and they have said they would like to do the business with you.  They have purchased a kit, been to a class, had a Wellness consultation and an Intro to the business discussion.  They have said they are committed to building a business – this is the ideal situation and please do not worry if you do not find someone who matches this description!  The following option is more likely!

  2. Place someone on your front line who you know is going to order at least 100pv every month and who you think has potential to become a builder in time.  This is a great option and is also not always the case when you first start doing the business so there is option 3!

  3. Start with a Placeholder!

What is a Placeholder?

It may be hard when you first begin.  You may be wondering who a builder will be and who will just be a customer.  It’s hard to tell because regardless of voiced intentions of people, you only really know what they will become by their actions, do they build.

One strategy is to use a placeholder.  Have a discussion with a close family member about the possibility of them opening an account that you can build under with the agreement that they will transfer the account to your builder when you find them. The best practice is to write down what the arrangement is to help you both remember.

You then take control over the account, placing monthly orders, etc. until you find a builder who can transfer in.  The Ideal Placement holder is someone who wants to keep purchasing oils and so will spend 100pv at least every month and will also still move out of that position when you find someone who would like to build.  The sooner you transfer someone in the better for two reasons.

  1. The placement holder will be collecting points every time they spend their monthly order with the LRP Program and will also increase their percentage they get back in points.  They will loose this percentage when they transfer out.

  2. Once the leg becomes more established with customers and sharers, it makes it more difficult for a new builder to come in and take ownership of the leg.

Gifting Enrolment

Sometimes it will make sense to gift one of your enrolments to one of your leaders.  Only give up enrollership when the sponsor has:

  • Shown their commitment and support to their team through teaching and mentoring.

  • Grown faster and stronger than the enrollee you are transferring to them.

  • Advanced in rank and needs the enrollership to reach a leadership level.
